"I know Oh, Lord, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. Correct me Lord, but only with justice -not in your anger, lest you reduce me to nothing."Sometimes, there's nothing sweeter than knowing that God has the perfect plan. And really? It's His perfect will that we want to have completed in our lives. For me, it gives me an ironic sense of freedom to know that God is in control. Because obviously, I'm not doing such a stellar job on my own.
I also like the second part of this verse. Because God is all about fairness. So it's important to remember that although he has to discipline us (duh, because that's what a good parent does), He will do so fairly, with justice instead of anger (thank God because when God gets angry, bad stuff happens -hello? plagues anyone?).
